The summer ski area volunteer season is pretty much over. We had over 1,200 hours of volunteer work done this summer. The bike trails were repaired and a lot of the fire damage was cleaned up. The annual Pit BBQ and work party was not as large as we had hoped for, but still a lot of work got done that day.
In celebration of a great summer, and to ring in the coming winter, Susan Brockway, Kim Sherwood and Gary Shipley will be hosting a party Sunday November 20th, beginning at 2pm at the ski hill lodge. We will have live music by the PEACEMEAL band, a keg of Tractor Red beer, wine, some food and sodas that will be provided.
We want to get this snow season started with a bang. Please forward on to others who you might like to have join us. Feel free also to bring whatever pot-luck you might like.
I hope to see you up there.
